Play a Sunday league night as a sub, free

We've added a sub list to the website. If you'd like to play in our Sunday co-ed 6s league but can't commit to a whole season, you can now put your name down for just the nights you're free, and a team that's short a player will email you. League nights are Sundays 4:00 to 9:00pm at Yale Secondary, through to December 6. There's no league October 11 for Thanksgiving. Subs play for free, and you don't need a drop-in pass. This is adults only. To get on the list, log in or make an account on the site, open Sub List, and tick the nights you can play. Tell us the positions you're comfortable in, your skill level (D, C, B or A pool, each one is described on the page), and which pools you'd be willing to sub in. If you haven't signed this year's adult waiver, you'll sign it right there. When a captain picks you, you get an email with a yes link and a no link. One click answers it. While a team is waiting on you, no other team can ask you for that night, so you won't have two captains chasing you at once. Captains see your name, level and positions. They only get your email and phone number once you've said yes, and you get theirs at the same time. If your plans change before anyone has asked you, take yourself off that night on the same page. When you're short for a Sunday, go to My Teams and press Find a sub. Pick the night, set the pool your team plays in, and add players from the list in the order you'd like to ask them. The site asks one person at a time and moves to the next on a no, or when their time runs out. You choose how long each person gets, from 30 minutes to 48 hours, or right up to game time. The first yes ends the search and you get that player's contact details by email. If your sub backs out later, press "Sub can't make it, ask again" and the search picks up where it left off. Players who've subbed for you before show up with an Ask again button. You can also let a roster-mate run the sub finder for you, with the Can find subs button beside their name in My Teams. The list is brand new, so it'll be thin for the first week or two. Please point your usual subs to it. Questions about subbing, just reply to this and we'll answer.
